Tv Glossary?

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been brought up before but my search drew a blank.

I signed up here a couple of weeks ago but I still get lost with a lot of the terms and shorthand some of you use. Is there a glossary or a similar thread where people have listed the meanings of terms/slang some of you use?

If not then maybe you could list a few here.

Believe it or not it took me a few threads to actually decipher LOS...I thought some posters were talking about Laos. :D:o

Love the site by the way...very informative and good for a chuckle also. :D

I don't know about one, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

However, if you would like to list some of the things you need definitions for, I am sure many people could help you, even me.

IMO In my opinion

IMHO in my humble opinion

Errr. I was actually curious about acronyms unique to TV....

..like BIB as you mentioned. Another one I can lay to rest, thanks. :o

Maybe not an acronym per say but the term "555" when pronounced in Thai is "ha ha ha". :o
