is it just me or was songkran pretty subdued this year? it seemed like there were half the people of last year in tongsala even through it was raining last year. also, most of the water ran out in town about 4 in the afternoon so it was difficult to refill the water guns.

yeah there weren't as many people- i know a lot of them from TNP went to koh tao this year for some reason! it still was great fun though!

and last year ended up in fights, fights and more fights, so maybe a more chilled songkran is not a bad thing. i was on the island for 3 weeks over songkran and do have to admit it was very quiet though
