My wife says this means the "lower part" of something. But she doesn't know what it means in terms of a car. Perhaps something to do with the chassis?

Underneath but at the back of the motor.

Could be your silencer, rear brakes/pads,suspension,diff...or with a bit of luck just your lights???

as others have said , it means underneath , the under part.

it is often used to mean the suspension in general , "nairp" being the word for springs or leaf springs and "shock- ap" for shock absorbers

the thai for chassis is the same as in english.

Hi,

I've been to the mechanic and he says i have a problem with the "chuang laang'' in my mazda 626.

Anybody know what this means?

ช่วงล่าง suspension.

Suspension, most likely, unless your "laang" means rear.
