Somebody is selling this set in Hong Kong. 5300HKD ~ 21k THB ~ 680 USD.

I'm no professional, I'd just like to learn something new and this seems like a good starter set. What do you experienced photographers think? Brand, camera, extras, price, etc. Any opinion would be appreciated.

With a few companies it is ONLY of the original purchaser.

Forget the 2x converter, but otherwise it sounds like a good starting point.

I am not sure about the range of lenses that Sony offers for future expansion,

but the ones in the package should meet most of your requirements.

OK just saw this Alpha 100 on sale - RM1,999 (Ringgit Malaysia) - about 4,000HKD

c/w 18-70 and 55-200 lens
