I'm no professional, I'd just like to learn something new and this seems like a good starter set. What do you experienced photographers think? Brand, camera, extras, price, etc. Any opinion would be appreciated.

I am not sure about the range of lenses that Sony offers for future expansion,

OK just saw this Alpha 100 on sale - RM1,999 (Ringgit Malaysia) - about 4,000HKD

c/w 18-70 and 55-200 lens
