Wash
I have this new search tool installed and once you let it index your files it is like greased lightning in it's ability to find anything you want on your computer. I don't care much about it searching email since the search tool is OK within Outlook, but was impressed with the speed and thoroughness in finding files on my computer. Then the file link apears in IE type display and you can click on it and open it in the original program that created it. Put in your search criteria and within the blink of your eye all files on your system are listed. Looks very good and so far I can't find any negatives to report about it. Crushdepth
Nice one...I wish it came with a password though. It's a bit *too* good for my liking !
lopburi3
Nice one...I wish it came with a password though. It's a bit *too* good for my liking ! Right click the icon and you can use Preferences to bypass folders and such from your search if that will help you.
grahamb
I have to admit I haven't tried it myself yet but as noted on Techdirt here, it seems to be a bit Microsoft-centric. Unusual that Google would do something that doesn't work with PDF but does work well with Microsoft Office, etc. Start the conspiracy theories here...
