Somtham
Impressed because yesterday I recieved a letter from the US addressed in English as follows: My name Tambon xyz Muang 6xxxx Thailand Depressed because an iBanking PIN from Bangkok Bank was mailed May 6th addressed in Thai with full street number and name, moo baan number, city, province etc. and still has not found its way to the mailbox. Both ends of the spectrum, yet the one you would expect to be lost forever shows up and the one that should be a no brainer never arrives. rgds ...and somebody is considering sending cash in the mail! sweetchariot
I am still amazed at the amount of junk mail my UK banks continue to send me - why can't that go missing??
Somtham
I am still amazed at the amount of junk mail my UK banks continue to send me - why can't that go missing?? Indeed. The letter from the US was junk mail. Why couldn't that have been lost and the PIN number delivered. Our TOT bills also only get delivered about 2/3 of the time. TOT tells me the Tambon is so large, I guess about 200 sq km, if there's a new mailman forget it and a lot of their customers complain about not receiving bills. Is there something that can be done at the post office? rgds
Seizhin
I dispatched a non-registered mail to the USA and they never arrived. Soon I tried the EMS to the USA, Malaysia and Singapore again and it works. Since the cost was quite expensive, I decided for the registered mail and they've always reached their target. Cash on mail? I never tried that but I dont think I wanna do that.
