In the same way i made a mistake by not p.m'ing the guy with the info.............you have made a mistake by not keeping quiet and boasting on here what you are going to do!!

It's called capitalism, cowboy.

If you call legalised extortion capitalism then I'd have to agree. In reality those who sell the bent gear are probably operating a purer form of it than the multinationals. Supply and demand.....

Scouse.

i was actually referring more to the consumer... what about the families that cant afford the exubiant prices of a real jersey... you know how kids are and you must realise the real word pressures out there for kids to have the latest footy jerseys... to the capitilists care about that... no of course not, not even the official replica shirts are in a decent price bracket for the average family...

i am not a direct footy follower because i come from another part of the world but i hear of these issues all the time and the capitilists dont give a crap, they even go so far as to increase prices... when in fact the manufacturing of the shirts is not actually increasing...

they are hipocrits, they were the first to use sweat shops and the likes to increase their profit margins without any direct savings to the consumer...

Pvtdick

It stinks, Nike and the famous brands, they are just ripping people off, charging rip off prices around the world, all there items are made in Thailand or China, some of the copies are better quality, when my wife was 13, two Thai-Chinese men came to her village to offer her work in Bangkok, her and a friend went, they were working 12 hours a day 7days a week, making trainers for these rip off companys, the company was sending these to the uk and the states and the retail would be 70 to 80 quid, my wife was living in squaler for 4 years and earning a pittence, :o so do not preach on this forum about copied goods, good luck to anybody who makes a dime :D

Come on PvtDick lets see your pic or are you worried incase your friends see it?

I doubt that is it because he probably doesnt have any friends.

So PvtDick, ever been to nana or soi cowboy, never barfined a girl, never stayed in a bar after hours, never watched a naked show in a gogo bar, never bought viagra without a prescription?

All illeagal here in TH, I would guess there is no moral high ground for you here you are just interested in the cash and do not care who gets hurt along the way, well we will all be watching your fate closely

is that the only floor you could find in my real life truth telling post of how the capitilists really work... a spelling mistake... Exuberant!!!

Posted

and before you mention the next one... flaw not floor

so lets hear something positive about your job... why is it neccessary to grass these people up in there own country... you would think that the so called capitilists that you work for who all own filthy big houses and cars etc... much more so than these guys that run the factories whereever they are... would actually pull their fingers out and do something positive... like come to an agreement with them so the customers that they are supplying can still be supplied but they get a small kick back from them... this of course would mean they would have to share their already incredible wealth... but seems a more positive approach than trying to outlaw something that there is obviously a demand for because of certain economic restrictions...

Good try at an analogy, but none of the things you mention are illegal. Of course, SELLING Viagra without a prescription, OWNING a bar that has naked shows or stays open past legal hours, and SELLING one's body ARE illegal.

Besides, I never said that I've never done anything illegal. It's just that I'd blame myself and say "fair cop" if caught, rather than getting all pissy at those whose job it is catch lawbreakers. Actually, that's how most people react when they get raided: fair cop, I'll pay my "debt to society", and if I still think it's worth it I'll be back at it tomorrow. Capitalism.

I'll pay my "debt to society"

how is getting caught selling copy football shirts and paying a fine to the capitilists, paying a debt to society?

Posted

No but by using these services you are condoning them, which shows your hypocracy regarding the law and just strengthens the fact that this is just about money to you and that you really dont give a toss about people.

Not a good personality trait. again WHERE IS YOUR PICTURE???

I might be able to point you in the direction of some shirts Thaicoon, i won't disclose on here incase Magnum PI is still monitering us

Cheers Dave, PM me.

The fine goes to the state, not the brand owner. These laws are meant to protect the public from being sold shoddy goods that are branded to look like they come from a respected manufacturer. Let me guess who'd be the first guy here to scream like a banshee if he bought a bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label at the grocery store and it turned out to be colored water? Intellectual property laws wouldn't be so much of a joke to you then, would they?

Even P,I's are allowed in. :D

That would be quite a night..........i/ll bring the boss from Candys maybe PvtDick can explain the situation to him. :o

The boss of Candy's wouldn't be in the business if he didn't know the score, and didn't expect (and plan to) be busted eventually. Anyway, I think he'd be much angrier with you for posting the info about his secret back room on the internet.

What a joke the ones that the manufacturers go for are the high qualirty coppies that are indistinguishable from the originals, it has nothing to do with protecting the public but everything to do with protecting price fixing.

If you believe otherwise then you really are dumber than we have all given you credit for.

If I got caught with a bottle of cheap fake whisky I would say somnomna me for being a cheap charlie.

Fines may go to the state but damages where awarded go to the manufacturer, you know that as does your firm, we all know who you work for so why not post your pic for everyone to see grass.

so who do you work for, thailand or the brand owners? ... and i dont believe the brand owners do not receive anything from the fine as you have stated... the copyright laws state exactly the opposite actually that the brand owners do receive part of the fine.

the point being the majority of people who buy these copy goods are in the know that they are buying them and want to buy them because of the savings they incurr... and the quality from what i have seen, and i have seen both versions real and copy... and the copy are pretty dam close...

not a real good analogy... but if i could buy copy JWB that tasted the same as the real thing or close to i would buy it... there is in fact copy baileys and kahlua (called other names) sold around the world... copies of the real thing but a lot cheaper, but unfortunately it tastes like crap...

still havent answered the previous questions above about them working together etc to fill this niche that there is so much of a demand for because people cant afford the real thing...

You are ignorant and you can't spell, yet I'm the "dumb" one.

Damages are NEVER awarded to a brand owner in a criminal matter -- which is what we're talking about -- because the brand owner is not the injured party. If you wish to argue further, try reading up on the subject matter first (that is, assuming you CAN read...based on your user name and icon, I'd peg you for, what, 12 or 13 years old?).
