Two skin/face related questions for one post:

1. I have mild eczema underneath both of my eyes on my upper cheek bones. I had some over-the-counter cream for it in the States that worked really well but of course I forgot it. It started with an H but I can't remember the name of it. If anyone knows of some good generic stuff I can get at the pharmacy I'd appreciate it.

2. I have just started working again and I have needed to shave. I get pretty horrible razorburn on my neck and it is quite uncomfortable and looks atrocious. I take all the necessary precautions before shaving (using shaving cream with aloe, taking a hot shower first, keeping the blade dry, etc..). I've never been able to find anything that has worked well for it. If anyone knows any topical cream or has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

For both of these problems I have been using a Smooth E knock-off. It works somewhat but I'm sure I can at least get something better for the eczema.

Thanks in advance.

Eczema around the eyes can be very tricky as the skin there is extremely sensitive. Normal cortisone-based creams are usually not a good idea here. Suggest you try Protopic (ointment).

Cheers.
