Has anyone stayed there? The location & price seems pretty good, can anyone provide me with some accurate reviews? Is it 'guest friendly'

Any other recomendations for hotels in walking distance to Walking street?

Is it worth renting a condo for a week or two instead of a hotel?

Also, wheres the cheep booze for happy hour? (I know most places have a happy hour, I refer to a good hassle free place to kick the afternoon off)

Have a look at their web-page and forum------yes girl friendly---they even have their own " Hostesses " ---and also go-go dancers --a nice comfortable place to have a beer---never stayed there --but have had good reports from people who have.

It all sounds pretty good, Im just about sold. What's the best way to get to the hotel if taking the bus from Ekkamai terminal to Pattaya?

I would get a motorbike taxi , it is off Walking street and the "Official" baht bus goes all roud the houses, if it will take you at all

If you have a lot of luggage get 2 bikes!

btw the Windy Inn is ok , Why anyone wants to stay on WS beats me though!

Have to think most of the places - have to sound proof their rooms or you won't be sleeping much.

I've never stayed at the place, but knowing one of the co-owners, I'm sure that ambient noise was probably considered when they built the place.

The location (a couple blocks up soi 14 from Walking Street) means that there aren't too many beer-bars and go-go's in the immediate area (i.e. on each side and across the street like the Penthouse and some other hotels). But they aren't far away (if you don't like the "in-house" entertainment).

Never stayed there but I recognize it now. Have walked by there a lot. Probably not that noisy at night as things do shut down. It reminds me of the old "flat iron" building in New York City. Remember, before air conditioning, big square buildings were not built because there was no air flow inside and the middle of the building was too far from an open window.
