Hi,I am in europe now and on my way back to thailand I wanted to bring a few boxes of LEGO building blocks for a 5 year old boy.I cant recall that I have seen LEGO in thailand before but maybe I am wrong about.If somebody know if Lego is widely available in thailand please let me know so I don't have to carry them on the plane.Some reference price would be handy if possible because I know sometimes these things can be a surprise in thailand.Thanks in advance for your replies.

Visit any larger [toy] store and you shall find them. Even 'middle class' shops as Robinsons have them.

Lego is everywhere! I just bought some for my "nipper" in the Mall, Korat.

They also have a knock off called COGO that is identical and has nice sets though it is almost the same price as LEGO

Any idea how much a standard box sells in thailand?

For a decent box you may calculate 2000.- Baht up.
