monkeyofdoom
My laptop's battery suddenly experienced 'irreparable damage' and I have to get a new one. I live in Chiang Mai, and I went to the Lenovo/IBM service centre at Pantip. They said a replacement would cost a little over THB 4000 and would take three weeks to arrive. So I'm not doing that. Does anyone have experience using mail-order for Lenovo stuff? Are there any other shops in Chiang Mai that might have a battery in stock? Any help much appreciated

Rice_King
Rumor has it that the Amorn Electronic shop (next door to Icon Square) will replace the cells in notebook batteries. I heard that they will take the battery apart and swap out the cells. Check them out and post back here with the results to confirm.
