Fine Single Malt

Featured Replies

Are their any specialty store in LOS (not the airport) that sell Fine Single Malt scotches - not talking about chivas, jamerson and that $#@$ they mix with soda - but fine scotch from the highlands?

Know of any shops with a respectable collection?

Try the Wine Cellar at Siam Paragon's gourmet food section.

Try the Wine Cellar at Siam Paragon's gourmet food section.

Plenty of places like Villa, Duty free, Siam Paragon, Central Food Hall, wine shops, etc seem to have:

- Lahroig 10 and 12

- Craiemoure - well ok, once I got a bottle - my personal fav alongside laphroig

- Glen MacCallen I think it is 10, 12,15,18

- Glenfiddich obviuosly, the least favourite of speyside for me

- Bowmore 10, 12,15

- Glenmourangie 12 seen this at Villa

Have not seen Glen Grant which is my preferred Speyside malt, but ah well.

They are mostly around 1,000b a bottle of 10 year, about 1,200 for 12 year and a fiar bit more for the 15 and 18s.

I know you can get 30 year I think it is as my old boss used to buy bottles of I think it was Glen er, something, (not Fiddich, not Mourangie, not grant, another one, quite common) which was quite good stuff.

Top floor of the Emporium on Sukhumvit - have seen Springbank, Lagavullin, Laphroig, Margaux, Petrus ........ not cheap though.
