simon43
I can't remember if any of these shops sell plant seeds. I want to plant a reasonably large (3 metres x 50 metres) area of ground cover. and the most economical way would seem to be by using a suitable plant seed. Do any of these shops stock a range of garden plant seeds that I can scater over my patch of land and wait for nature to take it's course? DrDave
Big C has a selection of seeds in their garden department, mostly vegetables, I think.
fiddlehead
I would go to the day market in PHuket town. The one near the water fountain circle. As soon as you enter the street where the market is, on your right (from the circle) there are 2 shops that sell seeds in much bigger bulk than Big C. Also more variety. I don't know that Big C would sell cover crop seeds.

Royale
If you were driving from Central towards Phuket town and took the left turning ( the road that goes up towards Rang Hill) there's a big garden supplies shop on the left hand side, lots of compost bags and pots etc outside, they have a very good selection of plant seeds and the lady there speaks enough English to get by if you don't speak Thai.
