Three injured following Shooting in Huoy Yai Municipality.

In the early hours of Saturday Morning, Police Lieutenant Jirasak from Banglamung Police Station was called to the Banglamung Hospital to investigate the aftermath of a shooting which had taken place in Huoy Yai Municipality and had injured three people.

Police spoke with Khun Sirinapa aged 23, Khun Wanchalerm aged 19 and a 15 year old girl who were all injured in the shooting. Khun Sirinapa explained to Police that she was driving her Red Honda Civic when a gang of youths surrounded her car and opened fire on the vehicle.

Upon questioning, the injured victims could not offer a motive behind the shooting, however Police suspect that information is being withheld from them and a relationship problem involving Khun Sirinapa may have led to one of the motorbike gang members to open fire on her. The investigation continues.
