Excel Opens Sheets In New Window Or Start Program New

Featured Replies

I have a PC with two screens. When I doubleclick different Excel documents it starts Excel just once and place them in different windows.

I of course can start excel twice and put the documents in one or the other (so I have 1 Excel on 1 screen).

But on my laptop everytime I doubleclick it starts a new Excel (which does not help on the laptop).

If the laptop would be like the PC and the PC like the Laptop it would be perfect. there must be a setting somewhere but I can't find anything.

Someone know?

Maybe you use a right click on the document file and choose: Open With -->MS Excel.

Cheers.
