Has anyone had any probs with the renewal of a retirement visa at Hua Hin? A friend of mine attempted to renew there and was first advised to apply for a married visa instead, then when asked for 5000bt, and an imprint of credit card, he reverted to the retirement visa, only to be requested for a fee of similar amount instead of the 1900 norm. He gathered up all his papers and went to another immigration office where he managed to get the ret visa. Have any other persons found this to be a problem at this office or was it an isolated incident? : :o : I have had a similar problem at the land dept there but have not tried to renew my visa yet.
