One day a sweet little girl becomes puzzled about her origin. "How did I get here, Mommy?" she asks.

Her mother replies, using a well-worn phrase, "Why God sent you, Honey."

A man is in his back yard when he hears something over the fence in his neighbour's garden.

He peers over the fence and sees the next door neighbour's little girl, crying, while digging a rather large hole in the garden.

"What's wrong sweetie? Why are you crying and digging a hole?" he enquires

The little girl sniffs, wipes her tears, stops digging, and looks up at the man with big red eyes.

"My pet canary is dead" she sniffles, "and I'm burying him"

"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that" says the man. "That's a pretty big hole for a canary though - why so big?"
