tedkarma Posted November 29, 2004 Share Posted November 29, 2004 Phuket now has metered taxis at the airport. Walk out the exit of the arrivals hall and head to your left and towards the back of the parking area that is right in front of the airport. The parking lot is not so big - you can't miss them. By far the cheapest way to get anywhere. Give them a nice tip - they have struggled a lot to get metered taxis going on the island. The tuk-tuk and limosine thugs won't give up easily.
