kasi Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I'm tired of drinking lipton and twinings swill is there any good tea available?
phuket Mike Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Marks and Spencers on the 2nd floor of Central have their own brand along with biscuits (digestives etc), it's good but expensive. There is a new small deli in Rawai that sells Tetley Tea bags. The Deli is next door to the Baverian Beer Garden thingy on the left as you aproach Rawai Beach from Chalong circle. Enjoy.
Thetyim Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Are you English ? Makes a big difference to what you think is a good tea
niagarekoja Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I'm tired of drinking lipton and twinings swill is there any good tea available? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Deli on Rat u Thit in Patong sells Tetley tea..When I was in Patong last week I was introduced to an english guy who was selling Tetley tea to the restaurants and bars.Whether he was legit or not I am unsure, but he has lived in Patong for. a good number of years. So yes tetley tea is freely available !!
kasi Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 Are you English ?Makes a big difference to what you think is a good tea <{POST_SNAPBACK}> American with strong Welsh and Scottish heritage. I like a descent quality tea brewed fairly weak. An Irish buddy of mine brews a cup to tea that could remove paint from walls! What they sell at Tesco stinks I'll try that central store. thanks
