My wife and I will be going along on Wednesday to cast our votes.

Here is the info from the embassy website :

To be eligible, you must be:

- a New Zealand citizen and have visited New Zealand within the last three years, or

- a permanent resident of New Zealand and have visited New Zealand in the last 12 months.

Vote

You can vote in person at the NZ Embassy in Bangkok from Wednesday 22 October until 4.00pm on Friday 7 November.

The Embassy is open 8am-12noon and 1pm-4.30pm Mon-Fri but will be closed on Thursday 23 October for a public holiday.

So please go along and vote for National and get rid of the socialists once and for all :o

Also the most important you must be on the Electoral Roll.

If you are not then your vote won't count. I also know that they the Embassy won't let you vote on the day.

I sent a letter to N.Z. 3 weeks ago to say that I have forgotten my last known address in N.Z. The one I last voted on and gave them an idea of where it was ( area) with my full name date of birth and other things I thought that might help them.

As to date no reply. Also the Embassy here did not want to help just gave me the form to send back to N.Z.

I also agree with the poster get the now Prime Minister OUT OUT OUT OUT.

Awesome ! The centre-right won (National/ACT/United Future, maybe Maori party coalition). Go John Key !

unfortunate name if he comes to Thailand, but yeah, hel_l yeah, frigging awesome.

Hope they wind back the 40% tax bracket; flat tax 28% Roger Douglas style.
