Humphrey Bear
Do you want to keep all the sweat in your shoes? Rot your feet? Not allow them to breathe while exercising? Seems a very bad idea to me, although my old rugby boots were fairly waterproof, and so are my safety boots. But both worn with a double thickness of socks. Humphrey Bear
Wasn't Harold Wilson the king of Gortex way back in the sixties? I run here in Vietnam, where it rains just about every day. I dry my feet, change my shoes and socks, no problem. Don't often get frostbite in SE Asia.
syd barrett
I was walking past 'The Avenue' shopping complex on Pattaya 2nd Road today and they had a marquee up outside selling running shoes at bargain prices. Check it out, there was everything available.
