I Get 1 Year Visa In Immigration Phuket ( Based On My Western Kid)

Featured Replies

I have 2 kids at international school in Phuket

In 30 minutes my wife , my 2 kids and i get a 1 year visa at Phuket immigration( almost 15 months because they added the 3months we could stay after last entry) without having to leave every 90 days ( which i dont care because i moove a lot and get same day a multiple reentry permit).

Officer was very kind and helped us to fill everything, a nice experience.

just had to show school paper and a proof of 500k baths per adult in a thai bank for at least 90 days. And of course the usual stuff like pictures, filled documents ...

i suppose it is a non O but am not sure as on the passeport there is only written:

application of stay is permitted up to ......( there is a dat whixh is 15 months further) and tons of stamps and signatures.

Few people know this procedure so in case some are in the same situation ( not working, under 50 and not marry to a thai lady and having kids at school) they can apply

What you have is an extension of stay. Based on having children in school.

Don't forget that you have to report to Immigration every 90 days of face a fine.
