dginoob Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I am heading back to Thailand (only my second time) in December for just over 2 weeks and I'd like some ideas as to where to go. Last time (in July) I spent time in Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui. This time I'd like to try somewhere different. The only concrete plans I have now is to go to the full moon party over new year. I was thinking of trying Chiang Mai but I've no idea what its like. The naughty nightlife doesnt interest me but I do want somewhere with a vibrant bar/club scene. highlander76 Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Chiang Mai is great place lots to do much nicer than Bangkok the thais there more friendly and laid back nightlife is all right some great pubs easy to travel around on foot or bike .
