Where/how can I buy pine or equivalent softwood...tried all the big DIY stores and gone into the smaller high street builders stores but no joy. Any help would be much appreciated. pete_r Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Last year I bought pine wood planks from a roadside shop selling used pallets in Suvarnabhumi area. Nice wood, but takes a lot of sanding to smooth out the surfaces. You may be able to find similar shops around other industrial or cargo zones around the country.
