From today's Matichon, a column which has the following sentence:

"การเลือกใช้กระบวนการปิดและยึดสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิและสนามบินดอนเมือง อาจดำเนินไปตามกลยุทธ์ทุบหม้อข้าวยึดเมืองจันบุรีของพระเจ้าตาก"

"Closing and seizing the airports and Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang is similar to the strategy employed by King Taksin of '______________' ".

Can anyone help with the literary or historical allusion to "ทุบหม้อข้าวยึดเมืองจันบุรี"

Another sentence says, "ยิ่งวิถีแห่ง "ม้วนเดียวจบ" ก็ยากเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะนำไปสู่บทสรุปได้อย่างรวบรัด"

Is this reference "ม้วนเดียวจบ" to a one-reel film or a one-round knock out?

"ทุบหม้อข้าวยึดเมืองจันบุรี" was a part of history of King Taksin.

This is the part which mention about this saying:

ยึดเมืองจันทบุรี

พระองค์ทรงพิจารณาว่าเมืองจันทบุรี เป็นเมืองหัวเมืองใหญ่

มีกำลังและเสบียงสมบูรณ์ จึงประสงค์จะยึดเมืองจันทบุรี ทรงใช้

จิตวิทยาโดยสั่งให้ทหารกินข้าวปลาอาหารให้อิ่ม แล้วให้ทุบหม้อ

ข้าวหมอแกงทิ้ง เพื่อที่จะเข้าไปกินอาหารเช้าที่เมืองจันทบุรี และ

วันที่ 14 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2310 ก็สามารถตีเมืองจันทบุรีได้

ทุบหม้อข้าว is always used as a metaphor, means 'to destroy one's career'.

"ม้วนเดียวจบ" is a one-reel film.

A one-round knock out would be "ยกเดียวจอด" in Thai saying.

กลยุทธ์ทุบหม้อข้าวยึดเมืองจันบุรี can be translated as a do or die strategy. ทุบหม้อข้าว or ทุบหม้อข้าวตัวเอง also has the meaning as Khun Yoot pointed out. It means 'to burn one's bridges/boats.

Before move to the meaning of that sentence, I would like to tell you the quote that King Taksin mentioned before seizing Chanthaburi (Chanthaburi used to be independent town in that time)

"เราจะตีเมืองจันทบุรีในค่ำวันนี้ เมื่อกองทัพหุงข้าวเสร็จแล้ว ทั้งนายไพร่ให้เททิ้งอาหารที่เหลือและต่อยหม้อเสียให้หมด หมายไปกินข้าวเช้าด้วยกันที่ในเมืองเอาพรุ่งนี้ ถ้าตีเอาเมืองไม่ได้ในค่ำวันนี้ ก็จะให้ได้ตายเสียด้วยกันให้หมดทีเดียว"

" We are going to attack Chanthaburi tonight. And all the food that we have left, just throwing it away and destroy all of the utensils that we have. As we are going to have breakfast together at Chanthaburi otherwise we would rather to be die.

King Taksin's strategy " ทุบหม้อข้าวยึดเมืองจันทบุรีของพระเจ้าตาก" (Detroy all food and utensils)

The main intention is to encourage his troops, to make them believe in themselve that they can win and have to win if not will end up with nothing to eat because they destroyed all food and utensils that they have.

For my understanding that Matichon newspaper used this metaphor for the situation of PAD Closing and seizing the airports and Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang can be the meaning that " We won't turning back until we get what we want"

For your second question the phrase "ม้วนเดียวจบ"

Only that phrase "ม้วนเดียวจบ" the meaning is like you said one-real film or one round (one flight/way) knock out / Ending with one solution.

But from the whole quote " ยิ่งวิถีแห่ง "ม้วนเดียวจบ" ก็ยากเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะนำไปสู่บทสรุปได้อย่างรวบรัด" mean The way of "one way knockout" It's too difficult to come out with the conclusion.

For my understanding relate to the situation of the country can be It's difficult to use one solution/ way to resolve the problem as the problem might come out bigger and never end.
