Etihad Promotion

Booked a return BKK-CDG on Etihad's website business class for 74.650B for travel April/May, a few days earlier their lowest price was 94.800!

Did a cattle class check travel same period, came with 21.000B + tax, should total no more than 31K.

Don't know the validity period of this promotion though. (spring?)

Nevertheless last September similar promotion was 20K + tax, although fuel came down their 2009 cattle class spring promotion went up 1K !!!

Qatar price was 85K and their beds don't recline as far as Etihad's, so the choice was obvious.

Always wonder if waiting longer to book finds better prices though!?

Also saw LHR-BKK return on Etihad for around 480 euro/pounds at the usual booking sites

that depends what aircraft is used. we flew Qatar business BKK-DOH-MUC 15. nov and back to Thailand 17. dec. BKK-DOH-BKK was very comfortable, DOH-MUC-DOH (shared with LH) not so. don't rember the aircraft types though.

Well Etihad flies a B777/300ER 2xday on the AUH-BKK route, seat pitch is 224cm and lie flat beds (180degrees) with private individual cubicles.

Qatar Airbus A330/200 and A300/600 have seat pitch of 156cm and 160 degrees inclining beds.

I am going to Munich with Qatar business in May returning June.What was wrong with DOH-MUC-DOH?Different seat types?
