Khao Kheow Open Zoo In Chonburi,

Featured Replies

Have to go to Khao Kheow zoo this Friday but haven't a clue how to get there by car.

I am the world's worst navigator, so would be obliged if some kind person could give me directions. I will be going from Pattaya and live close to Sukhumvit road near Pattaya Klang.

Thanks in advance.

been there once myself (on a honda dream all the way from Patters') was a decent trip out too..

Nice map goshawk. To the OP, that turn off is decently signposted... unless you are doing +120 in the outside lane!

Agreed a nice day out, make sure you buy plenty bags of fruit just inside the entrance so you can (over)feed the residents.

Thanks Goshawk.

Nice day out.

I drove to Sri Racha from Bangkok (On my Honda Click) on Monday. I kept on Sukhumvit road, saw many signs in English for the zoo. I'm sure you will not have any problem finding it.

Have a great day.

p.s. Let me know what it is like, price animal care and what animals please. Would like to go myself one day.

Dreadful zoo now. I went 2 weeks ago. All dried out from lack of rain. HOT.

Many cages empty. It is a run down place now. Not worth a trip. Believe me.
