Three Robberies On Sunday Night In Pattaya

THREE ROBBERIES ON SUNDAY NIGHT IN PATTAYA, TWO SNATCHERS ARRESTED ONE MANAGED TO ESCAPE.

At 7.30 pm, on 3 February, Pol. Lt. Col. Sutham Chowsrithong, Pattaya Deputy Inspector and his team were informed while patrolling around his responsible area that a robbery had occurred at the Walking Street entrance. The police team rushed to investigate.

On arriving, they found Miss Jittha Pientet [27] who said she had been sitting in a Baht bus and when the bus stopped for the traffic, the snatchers who were riding on a black Honda Wave with noa number, had approached her on the side of the bus and the man on the back seat just grabbed her gold necklace and sped their bike towards Wa Chai Mongkol direction. Miss Jittha said the man was wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of shorts.

Police managed to intercept and arrest the snatcher, Master Santisuk Gertkae [15] a student of Arunothai School , year MS. 3 , at the Xcyte Pub packing lot with evidence of one baht gold and a budhha Image [worth 15,000 Baht] which belonged to Miss Jittha.

Gertkae confessed ,it was his first robbery because he needed money to buy Yah bah, his friend who managed to escape was not a student.

The second case happened at 9.50 pm, in front of Siwaporn Thai massage shop, oposote to Siam Bayshore Hotel, South Pattaya. The victim was Mr. Brakta Mehole [33] French national who explained to the police that he was sitting on the back seat of a motorbike which was being driven by his friend.

A man riding his motorbike and approached him and pulled off his necklace with a pendent and tried to ride away. He jumped off the bike to chase the thief and managed to arrest him. Police found Mr. Sampan Bangkeang [33] from Nakornsawan with the evidence a necklace and his motorbike [black Yamaha Fino, No. 7874].

The third case happened to an Indian couple who had injuries and lost their bag which contained 2,000 US$.

The incident happened at 00.25 am, on 4 February, in front of Pattaya School Meung 4. After receiving the report, Pol. Lt. Col. Kringgraiwut Bauglah, rushed to investigate with a rescue team.

At the scene police found two victims, Mr. Mukehs Jain [61] and Mrs. Sandosh Jain [61] , Indian National. Both had wounds on their bodies. They said they were riding on their motorbike from North Pattaya towards the city.

Two male teenagers riding on a motorbike, approached them, the one on the back seat grabbed Mrs. Jain's Bag which contained 2000 US$, and sped away. The victims fell down on the road and were injured. They could not remember the thieves' motorbike color or number only that they were speeding along Sukhumvit road, heading into town.

The rescue team sent the victims to Pattaya Memorial hospital.

All cases had been filed at the police station and the robbers will be persecuted accordingly. The ones who escaped will be brought to justice as soon as possible.

.........and so many robberies are not reported. A friend of mine was robbed in her own home on last Thursday night. She lives alone and only escaped harm by locking herself in the garage When the police arrived, one noticed that she did not have a car and gave her his brother's taxi service business card!

On the Pattaya One news story it says Tuesday night, showing a picture of the same dude in the white T shirt, has someone got their days wrong or was he inside Sunday night, processed and back out to rob again Tuesday???? :o

Hard times, bad guys out looking for soft Targets. 7/11, Save Mart, even mom and pop beware :o:D 7/11 maybe more 191 patrols, for mom and pop maybe a big old mean Soi dog(s) near by could be helpful?? :D:D:D Ladies stop trying to show your wealth leave your darn gold necklace home, you a soft PRIME Target.

No you haven't but our esteemed mr soundman has - actually only two happened TUES night and the 3rd in the early hours of WED morning.

Not my fault if the reporter doesn't know what day of the week it is. :o

I only see in the OP title mentioned "sunday night",in the original newspaper article it says tuesday. :D

No you haven't but our esteemed mr soundman has - actually only two happened TUES night and the 3rd in the early hours of WED morning.

I only see in the OP title mentioned "sunday night",in the original newspaper article it says tuesday. :D

So it does. I have no idea what has happened there, as it was a cut and paste job when I posted it.
