Rigsby
Anyone know of guys out there that will assist in a house move next week ?? It's only a move 5 mins (drive) from old house to new (in Pattaya), but have a load of furniture and no transport. Thanks.
rayong09
Rigsby, depending on what you call loads of furniture why not simply get a Baht Bus? Comes with driver and mate for loading, low back with step and cheap, even if you have to do 2 or 3 runs its only 5 mins away, there you go... LennyW
If you look along Sukhumvit you will see trucks for hire of various sizes parked at the side of the road with signs displaying their phone numbers, just stop and ask them, some do transport only, others will assist with the furniture, and they are not expensive. A freind of mine had a snooker table delivered to Ban Chang from south pattaya and it was only 1500 Bt.
pattaya_girl
We used a Baht Bus, its surprising how much stuff you can actualy fit inside there, and the driver helps if you tip him.

Meg_2003
Near Sophon Cable TV there are guys with Pickups who are available for rent. About 300 baht a trip... On sukhumvit there is a place which offers larger vehicles and their guys will help you. If you're short on people to help carry the furniture out, Offer a motorbike taxi some $$ and I'm sure you'll have no problem finding help.
