Building A Faux Log Cabin

I want to build a log cabin using logs made from cement or other materials besides wood. I have seen them used for decoration but not for building an entire house. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase them? And if you have any comments about this idea I would like to here them. Also, where can I find the siding that looks like wood but is made from plastic?

I think you are talking about shera building materials, we built a wooden house using it a couple of years ago. Really happy with the finished house. You can buy the planks for most big building suppliers.

Can't help you much with the fake stuff but after building, find someone who works with stucco, take him to the place that molds the cement table and stools,etc Now that I've figured out how to attach photos. I'll send a couple more..some stairs astair landing and a soapstone woodstove along with my famous rockworkFAP_No14a.pdf

Shera is a trade name for the fibre cement siding.
