As a citizen of Ukraine you can get a Visa Arival at the airport. This gives you 15 days stay. Usually it will cost 1,000 Baht. Until 4th June it is free.

You will probably need a Visa for Laos. Around 1,500 Baht.

As for the rest of your question? I do not really know. I think you will have to get a bus to Savannakhet. Not sure if they issue VOA'S. Maybe some information here. http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2491

You will NOT be able to get a Lao visa at Suvannabhmi Airport in Thailand, and I'm not sure that a Lao VISA ON ARRIVAL is available at Savannakhet Airport, altho I expect it is. VOA is available in Savannakhet at their end of the bridge from Thailand.

Regarding buying your ticket, might be possible at Bangkok's airport, IF the Lao Airlines office is open when you arrive. It should be open on Friday 27 March when they have departing and arriving flights. However, you should ask via email.

If you have a late flight might have to visit their office in downtown Bangkok to pay.

I take it you will travel on a Ukraine passport? In that case you must have a visa prior to travel if you do not have an air ticket out within 15 days. That will be closely checked at visa on arrival desk.

It seems best you obtain your Bkk/Laos/Bkk ticket prior to travel if you do not have a visa - and be sure it is not more than 15 days after your arrival. There is no place to buy ticket prior to Immigration and airline likely would not allow you to fly without meeting the 15 day requirement if you do not have a visa.

No. You need a ticket out of Thailand within 15 days to qualify for a visa on arrival; as I said above. The airline may not even let you fly without it.

You need to shorten your trip to 15 days - or obtain a tourist visa prior to travel - or obtain an onward ticket with you and within 15 days of arrival (the BKK/Laos/BKK trip).

If you have the ticket out within 15 days of arrival you can then buy a visa on arrival at Bangkok Airport.

More than 12 hours in transit would require a visa I believe. But you will qualify for visa on arrival if needed.
