Bark Chips/mulch In Udon Thani

How much do you need? What exactly do you need it for?

I use saw dust (kee ler-aye). You need to find out where the local saw mill is. Failing that go to the nearest shop that sells the nice Thai style, solid polished wood furniture and ask them. I usually take a few empty rice sacks with me and fill them up. Usually get charged about 20-30 baht a sack. Lay it where you want it and give it a good wetting down. Works a treat.

It's nice to have a good garden. Good luck. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Here in Surin most of the garden shops carry shredded coconut shell mulch. It is much more termite resistant than wood mulch.

Thanks to both of you for your kind relpies. The coconut mulch sounds like a great alternative. I think I'll try to find some of that around...maybe my neighbours :o
