To all,I am 30 year old male single from Australia.I am currently living in Australia and want to buy a bar in Ko Samui in 2 months.The cost is 1.8 million baht with a lease of 5 years.I will have 2.5 million in bank after i buy the bar.What is the best visa/permit for me ,and how do i get it/them?Any information would be much appreciated

Peter, welcome to Thailand Expat Forum.

The best you can do is to travel to Thailand and investigaste if you really want to open a bar!

If you consider to go into business, you would need a Non-B visa, but you would not have an easy time to get a work permit for owning a bar.
