Typical Thailand Property Scam

Recommended Posts

I remember the ads for this one in all the Real Estate porn rags of Thailand over the past couple years and all the paid advertorials for it in the same publications. Why anyone would want to live in a development associated with a footballer is a separate question, but anyone with eyes could see this development would come up a cropper.

I v been watcing them too. Maybe they spend all their money on ads, and not on building. If they had any money :)

I would check on the quality of the land title of an old or recently completed property before paying for it.

And we still see educated people from developed countries paying money for some colourful brochures...

I like how they said Joe Cole "invested in good faith".

He did not invest a single cent. He was given a penthouse in return for being their pitch man. He lost nothing.

Spot on here, i thought the same. Their should be legal consequences to lending your name to a project, without doing any diligence yourself.
