silentjob
Does anyone know when and where any genuine Muay Thai fights takes place? The place down Loi Kroh is funnier than Bill Hicks, and the one across from Taphae, well I wouldn't know.... I have heard of a place near the train station, but that's it. anyone have any ideas or suggestions please? Thanks

Thanks There is also another boxing ring on Moon Muang road right on the corner of the entrance to Top North hotel, never been in but if it is no the same level as the one that you mention on Loi Kroh then it would b equally a joke. (Purley for Tourists) If you like to watch it on TV the Thai TV channel No7 Shows fights every Sat and Sun around 2pm or 3 pm Edited May 21, 2009 by tigerbalm
IanForbes
The Loi Kroh fighters learned their acting from the USA TV programs: WWE and WWF.
silentjob
I used to watch it on the telly when we first got here, but I want to see a fight in the flesh before I leave CM
seesip
Kawila has good fights, if you go ask the promoters about upcoming fights around the province, some of the best fights are out of town a bit, 30 min to an hour will get you to many of the locations. Definitely worth the effort, the local matchups are often more entertaining than the big stadium fights.
cm das
I agree with seesip. The best fights I've seen in the north were at a small temporary stadium put up next to a boxing camp in nowheresville Lamphun. Much higher standard than what I've seen at Kawila.
