If you've been using Dual Boot to have the option of two operating systems and now decided to use only one you are usually still left with the Dual Boot log on screen. :)

On previous versions of Windows you could edit the boot screen by going to Computer-Properties- Advanced-Startup & Recovery. This does not seem to work with Vista and Win 7.

This little program will do the job. It lets you edit the Boot settings also repair boot files as well as a couple of other useful utilities.

It's mainly for Vista but works partially with XP, enough anyway to get rid of my Dual Boot screen.

Typing msconfig at the start menu then running it gives you the option in win7.

True but if you make a mistake with the edit it won't boot at all :)

Forgot to mention the program is a freebie :D
