What's The Funniest Dubbed Movie You Have Seen?

Featured Replies

I saw a vcd today that I bought in Bangkok. 2 Charlie Chaplin movies, which I love, but the funniest thing was that they are dubbed in Isarnese! Hilarious if you are learning Isarnese as I am. Never laughed so much for years.

I have also seen lots of Benny Hill vcds, Thais love him.

I love the dubbed WWFstuff on Supersport!!

Yes, although I don't like the English version, I do find myself wathcing the Thai dubbed one.

John Wayne when he walks into a room, puffs his chest out and says

' Saaaawaaadeee kap'

i find them all funny because they seem to use the same guy for all the voice overs and his voice is crap !

I'll second that. My wife giggles all through the day after seeing a Benny Hill show. It's on Foxtel here in Aus and she gets a good laugh going which infects me and my daughter and then we can't stop laughing.

I suppose it might have to do with Benny pulling funny faces after the punch line as I've seen on Thai TV comedy shows. Thai shows seem to have a sound effect whenever they expect the audience to laugh.

I remember going to the movies in Udorn in '75 where the upstairs sections was closed off and they had an english dialouge. The only problem was that the entire sound track was cut out for the conversation. So you'd have a couple on the beach with a loud breaking surf, but as soon as one of them opened their mouth, no sound from the waves! :o
