peridot Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Phiman Water View Resort is a guest house on the river at the end of Samsen Soi 5 in Banglamphu. Follow the big arrow at the end of the soi on the left, down a walkway around a few houses to the colorful gate. The locals are happy to help you find it. It is an artists guest house, a funky cheap place run by V, a Thai who lived in San Francisco for years. He has art for sale, and encourages guests to paint on the walls.
