Sawasdee Khrup, Khun Harry,

I am sure this a western artist's rendering, translated into western cultural icons, of the famous story in the life of the spiritual teacher who was born Siddhartha, Prince of the Sakyas, and later, after a period of intense ascetisism in which he discovered that extremes of self-abnegation were useless, became known as Gautama, the Buddha.

The well-known story relates that the Buddha saw a Monk "showing off" by levitating, and told him to cut it out. It is a fact that one of the four "big" things that will definitely get you kicked out of being a Buddhist Monk is talking about "spiritual experiences" you have not had (no, I've never been a Monk, and never will be, not in this life).
