Hi all,

We will be applying next May for my TW's ILR. My question is if she is granted it, does that mean we can holiday around the world without any other visa. IE USA or Europe? If not at what point in her citizenship ship process can she? We would love to go to France and Florida at some stage!

Thanks in advance

No, she will still need to get visas until she gets a UK passport. Getting these visas should be easier though.

And its 3 years from entry to the UK .

Example my wife entered March 06 on a Tourist visa she returned in July on a fiancee visa we married Oct 06.

Gained ILR in November 08

She applied for her Citizenship in March 09 and now has a UK Passport.
