Visa App. & Provisional Flight Bookings In Bangkok?

I posted a query about my Thai wife's application for a long stay visa in Ireland and that issue has been clarified with help from the forum.

The Irish Consulate in Bangkok want her to provide a one way, provisional booking confirmation of her flight/itinerary with the visa application. She tried to do this with an agent/s, but they wanted 20% of the fare. The Consulate said it would not cost anything, or might cost 50 baht. Does anyone know of any agents in Bangkok that can provide this without it costing an arm and a leg?

Any help is sincerely and very much appreciated!

Try this one matey. I've used them twice to book flights from BKK to LHR and my friends who live in Thailand use her for everytime they travel anywhere worldwide.

I can't vouch for them offering to do exactly what you want, but I can vouch for them as a reputable agents. Give them a try.

Hopefully the visa will not take too long to process - from my own experience they are quite quick provided you have all the documentation.

ive recently booked 2 tickets with Emirates,did it by phone and as soon as i put the phone down i was able to view my flight booking and itinery online,while you are on the phone they will give you a date for which the flight has to be paid for, usually about 14 days before travel,if its not paid by this date you would lose the booking.Easy just print it off,and if you dont want it later,dont pay for it.
