Cashier at HK duty free strongly suggested to us that we only take two bottles to BKK (one each) and they should be in separate plastic bags and carried individually. Speaks for itself. There have been reports on this forum about passengers being excessively fined for attempting to bring in 43% whiskey and 50% 'Blue' Smirnoff Vodka. They have a scanner set up after you walk through the green channel and scan all luggage for bottles as ciggies... edit: ...oh..and I believe this thread makes more sense in the Suvarnabhumi forum...topic moved!
