SamuiRes
I may be behind the times on this but just today saw this hillside in Ban Tai - just above the Wat. Does anyone know what happened - or is happening - here?
Wellington
maybe I'm also out of date ,but when we lived in Samui four years ago, the story was that this piece of hill was bought by an American "celeb" with the idea of selling sea view plots, but he found no insurance company would cover him because he had stripped all the trees and therefore the hill became unstable. So he ruined a nice little hill for nothing Happening everywhere.

I thought it was something like that. Any way of making that rapist of the island reforest it?
