I'm currently using a Blackberry Bold with unlimited data (AIS), EDGE speed...Really slow, especially when it comes to downloading or uploading on my MacBook (tethered) Any advice? Thanks ! I live in Soi Sukhumvit 81 (near BTS On Nut), Bangjark district, Phra Khanong, BKK... say 4000Baht is a one time purchase, what are the monthly costs? MJo Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 True has trial 3G network in downtown bangkok, you can see their coverage in their web pages. This is the closest you can get in Bangkok if you really want mobile connection that you use around the city. It is still trial network as the government has not issued any licenses so this means very limited coverage and capacity but there is reports from the users saying it's working ok at the moment just providing you are in the coverage area.
