Any help most appreciated, any borderpost (assuming you have a multi-entry and only want to go out+in to get the next entry stamp): thats Mae Sot, (with a very awkward trip needed from Kan) or Ranong in the shouth-in fact PoiPet or some other Khmer border may even be quicker to reach. The border beyond-Sanklaburi-3 Pagoda pass does NOT give out new entry stamps on the Thai side. You can sneak i to BUrma=Myanmar there-but it wont extend your Thai permit to stay. apetley Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 Self drive and I would choose Mae Sot, 5-6 hours drive from Kan. If your relying on public transport I would get into BKK and use one of the visa companies to Cambodia or if your feeling rich take a flight down to KL or the like and make a weekend of it.
