Malaisian Airlines

Featured Replies

Hey

This morning I logged on to the thai version of Malaisian airlines' website to book a Bangkok Kuala Lumpur for two persons

Twice one of the credit cards was declined (I still don't know why)

Third trial with another credit card: declined (?)

I decided to call them in KL: they accessed my booking, they asked me my details (same card), waited ten minutes

I was then told I would receive confirmation after the tickets were issued

I asked for the reference number which was given to me

I tried to check the booking (or its confirmation) on theit website: unable to locate anything of the kind

This afternoon I called their office in Bangkok: the only thing I could get out of the person at the other end of the line was "what were you told when you made the booking" and "no one cannot check a booking on line"

I am puzzled

I will eventually call back their office in KL but it is the first time I cannot check online my booking status

Is it because we are in Thailand or is it general not to be able to do so?

Mrs boggle (6 years travel agent) informs me, generally only if you book on line can you check on line. Since it seems you booked over the phone you cannot check on line. :)

If you have a booking reference, you should be able to check it at checkmytrip dot com
