Hello,

I am looking for a job in Tailand starting between june and september. Im a qualified aid/development worker specialised in the field of refugees and forced migrants. I have a solid background in refugee law and camp administration.

Can anybody direct me to websites to find jobs. Can you give me some tips on finding a job in thailand?

I am a Canadian woman currently living in Egypt.

I speak French and English.

Thailand is doing quite fine in comparison to Myanmar,Laos and Cambodia.

You should have come 30years earlier.

This is a very emotive subject in Thailand and the Thai Goverment like to handle it in their own special way as a "Farang Poo Ying" you would not get within a 100 miles of a job.

Who's doing all this NGO work with Burmese refugees? Are they all employed/associated with official NGO's, or international agencies that are basically clandestine? Who's running the official and unofficial refugee camps? This kind of activity seems to be fairly common around Chiang Mai and points north and west.
