ARH
Anyone knows if the movie "A Christmas Carol" is going to be a 3D version here in Chiang Mai? I am thinking of watching it at Major Cineplex at the Airport Plaza, but I am not sure if it is going to being a 3D version or not. I tried Google translation of their website: it didn't help! Thanks a lot!!! Edited November 26, 2009 by ARH

Greenside
It got great reviews on the BBC. I hated Polar Express but this looks worth a visit in 3D and a good chance to preview their new conversion before Avatar comes along next month. Bearnagh
I think airport Plaza is your best bet. When "G-Force" came here a couple of months or so ago, we went to see it in Kaad Suan Kaew. Despite the posters on display, advertising it in 3D, it was not shown in 3D. Apparently the cinemas in KSK don't have the technology for showing in 3D. purplehaze
I was a bit disappointed that they did not have the 3D glasses for kids, even the one's I had kept slipping off.OK for the 3D value, preferred the old classic on tele. though. I reckon my 5 year and me must have pretty big heads then as the glasses seemed to fit us I thought it was a pretty good adaption though my son was a bit to young to appreciate it. The prices were a bit hefty 280 baht each no discount for a child. Looking forward to seeing Avater when it comes out next month in 3D
thaimiller
Went to see it today and it was great, I was well impressed with the 3D screen, they had a trailer for Avatar and that looks amazing, can't wait.

Is the cartoon with Mr. Magoo the "classic" one? I think that is the best that I have seen.
