Recommended Posts

Probably not, would be my answer, without checking the Thai customs site, but it never stops me bringing 10/15Kg of it back to carry me throught till the next trip. :)

I love a good Stilton and a ripe Blue Castello which are night on impossible to come by.

yes it is, but do I need to declare it?, and I want to bring a leg of lamb?

Your bag will be ex-rayed when you leave your sheep filled land, so this will definately make the ex-ray operators eyes bulge. Have it de-boned, and the bag well sealed or you might have some bloody things when you unpack!

I always bring cheese, especially if I transit through Amsterdam, you can buy lamb in Chiang Rai at Northern Farms.

Sorry! I thought I was posting on Crai Forum.

I know others outlets sell lamb in LOS, I've seen it in Makro.

I too have carried a few kgs of good local English cheeses with me, over the past few trips, luckily that nice TOPS-Supermarket stocks biscuits-for-cheese (from Waitrose ?) so don't have to carry them too ... leaves more space for extra cheese ! :)
